Born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, my fascination with fashion was cultivated early on through the culture and heritage that surrounded me. However, it was during my seven years in New York City that my passion for fashion truly grew. The city’s energy, diversity, personality, and ever-evolving trends became an encyclopedia that helped me understand the intricate language of fashion.
My experiences in NYC acted as a catalyst for my passion, initially kindled by the influences of my grandmother and mother, very stylish women. Their innate sense of style and appreciation for uniqueness and personality laid the groundwork for my deep-rooted love for fashion design and creative direction.
Driven by curiosity, I embarked on a journey of education within the world of fashion, studying at renowned institutions like Parsons, FIT, and SVA. From understanding the history of iconic designers to studying the evolving socio-cultural influences that shape trends, my education has played a pivotal role in this ever-growing process of understanding fashion.
